Blog 11: Third Interview Questions

EQ: What is the best way to be a successful surgical technician?

1. What are common mistakes, if any that occur in the operating room?

2. How do you prevent these mistakes from happening?

3. In the research I have done, it says that leaving instruments in the patient is the most common, would you agree or disagree?

4. What do you believe is the best way to be a successful surgical technician?

5. In your opinion what would you say is the definition of a successful surgical technician?

6. When taking care of a pediatric patient, is it more difficult than an adult?

7. My answer is to develop an operating room routine, would you agree or disagree?

8. Do you have an operating room routine you follow?

9. When a pediatric patient goes through the OR are they usually very nervous? if so, how do you help them calm down?

10. When do you believe is a surgical technician truly successful in your eyes?

  1. Not approved. The focus of the interview questions should be on answering your EQ, not interviewee background questions.
