EQ: What is the best way to be a successful surgical technician?

1. Do you believe that having an operating room routine would greatly reduce the amount of mistakes that may occur during an operation?

 2. How would you define a successful surgical technician?

 3. Do you have an operating room routine you follow every time? If so what does it consist of?

 4. Why is sanitation important to a hospital?

 5. What would happen if one did not sterilize the instruments properly?

 6. What would you say is the most common mistake in the operating room? How is it able to be prevented?

7. One of my answers to my essential question is "Treat each patient according to his/ her individual needs" do you agree that this is true? why or why not?

8. Why would you say it is important to not treat each patient the same?

9. Do advancements in medical equipment happen often?

10. How long does it take to learn to properly use?

12. If you were to answer my essential question, how would you? (What is the best way to be a successful surgical technician? by successful i mean, feeling great accomplishment with yourself, pushing yourself to be the greatest, and just having great overall performance as a health care worker.)
